Introducing Summer and The Rain with "Daisies", A concoction of equal parts alternative, funk, and indie rock, Summer And The Rain formed in the latter half of 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. After her departure from the hard rock outfit Undecided Youth, lead vocalist Summer Welsh sought to form a new group during the live music lull that a nationwide surge of quarantine efforts brought on. The single to us is simply relaxing and nice when it comes down to the singing. It reminds us heavily of Jesse from the band The Neighbourhood. The way the single begins to open up with the drums is great. The guitars and soft nuances like the piano as support are simply amazing. Listen below for yourself.
