Explaining the track further it talks about how "The only time you have is now, so take care of yourself." As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, “Better Days” uses layers of guitars over a resolute drum beat to create a mellow, yet motivating atmosphere to ponder the importance of self-care, particularly getting enough sleep. “A bunch of late nights working on the computer, and being really tired all the time inspired this song,” McDaniel said. “I’m a one-woman team, and if I’m not doing stuff, stuff’s not getting done. To the vocals and production, this track will truly have your body dancing. Being just perfect for a walk by the beach or hanging out with some friends. Go stream "Better Days"!
