Introducing a talented group known as Popcoin created by Friends and multi-instrumentalists Aaron Black & Des Martin they have always made different kinds of noise, but never did they anticipate making pop music together from halfway across the USA. Popcoin was a happy accident the pair had planned to meet in the studio in early 2020, just before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the country into lockdown. Fed up with their inability to collaborate face-to-face, Des sent a bassline to Aaron in December of 2020. Aaron built a lush pop track around it, and the two started using Discord to send notes and revisions as their catalog grew. Their influences include early 2010s Indie Pop, UK Bass, Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, Experimental Synthscapes, Punk Rock, and 16-bit Video Game Soundtracks. Their thoughtful, unshakable energy can be felt in every tune. Following the release of their newest single "Talk" they project a groovy beat that will surely captivate your ears.
