Pelly - "Lucky"

Introducing Pelly with "Lucky". Growing up in a sleepy midwest town, there wasn’t much of a hip hop scene to develop within. So Pelly looked outward, drawing inspiration from rappers like 2Pac, Nas and A Tribe Called Quest. Lucky is song about the grit it takes to be from the upper Midwest. The single to us feels like something that ilovemakonnen would've hopped into with the instrumental. The artist does absolute work at premiering his lyricism here and we think this is the perfect single to introduce someone to who Pelly is. Listen below to see what we mean.
