Drawing from blues and neo-soul influences, Montclair is bringing a new sound to a classic style. Originally consisting of four musicians, they have grown into a six-piece rock group whose members come from vastly different backgrounds. Ranging from classically trained to entirely self-taught, the Montclair boys share a passion for vibey roots rock and the down-to-earth indie sound popularized by DIY musicians and producers. As the world slowly opens back up, Montclair is coming back in force, releasing their debut EP and playing shows around the metro. Montclair’s live performances are always a hit, characterized by energetic instrumentals topped with Will Dykes’s crooning vocals.
