Her music falls under the folk pop and indie genres with breezy melodies that have brought comparisons to Of Monsters and Men lead singer, Nanna Hilmarsdottir. Citing influences such as Ingrid Michaelson, Sarah Jaffe, and 60s rock artists such as The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and The Beach Boys, KellyMarie’s musical talent is far-reaching, as she sings and composes her own lyrics. The artist sings well and she stands out completely, and is defintely different then other artists that are influenced the way she is influenced by her hero's. When it comes down to the vocals Kelly Marie absolutely nails it, over and over again, from verses to chorus and hooks. We think so much uniquess pours out of the artist, and you'll be grasped to the instrumental too, What feels like an indie pop vibe works well for this artist and we hope to hear more of her soon.
