Dad Friendly presents "Hold Me Up" a nostalgic, soft sung sleeper hit to us. It sounds it could be an outro to a coming of age movie that has the sweetest ending. A duo from Seattle. The instrumental has a great build up along with the beautifully sung vocals, more and more is added to the instrumental as we creep towards the ending and lush female background vocals just for another layer of comfort. The beggining is full of texture of what sounds like rain, along with what sounds like a dx7 that is more prominent in the hook.
The mix is refreshing and new and works with the single from the opening in the hook to the outro. It's very much worth a listen, we're personally waiting for more new music from the duo and can't wait.
