Chuck Strangers, the Brooklyn-born rapper and producer, has released a new single titled "Prospect Park West" in collaboration with producer Crooklin. The track is the first preview of his forthcoming EP and debut release on Lex Records.
"Prospect Park West" features Chuck's steady flow over a soulful sample, taking listeners on a nostalgic journey through his hometown. The accompanying visualizer was created and directed by Jay Russell.
Chuck Strangers emerged as part of the influential New York City collective Pro Era in the early 2010s. He played a pivotal role in shaping Joey Bada$$'s sound on his breakthrough album "1999" and has also produced tracks for other artists such as Roc Marciano, Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, and Lord Jah Monte Ogbon.
In recent years, Chuck has focused on developing his own rap skills, leading to recognition from legendary New York MC Ka, who featured Chuck on both sides of his acclaimed 2022 double album.
