Introducing one talented group known as Ivytide they are a Indie Pop band from Montreal, Canada. Founding members, Nathan Gagné (vocals/guitar), Jamie Snytte (guitar) and Kyle Ruggiero (bass) met at a recording studio, where they started to develop chemistry in their songwriting. A mutual love for lo-fi indie music led to the production of bedroom pop songs with intricate, but catchy melodies, which float on top of well thought-out instrumentation. Ivytide recently signed with Higher Reign Music Group, a distributed label of Sony Music Canada, and released their second EP “Pardon our distance” in June of 2020. Following the release of their newest single "talk about it" they project a very chill laid back track that will instantly grasp your ears. Starting the track with slow but yet groovy beat leading onto their soothing and luscious vocals they complete the track fully. Explaining the track further it's about a dwindling resilience in maintaining a relationship that once was. Due to unforeseen circumstances, little things that once seemed generally undemanding, such as meeting up in person, have become arduous and stressful. The added pressure leaves both partners in a state of withdrawal, thinking things could all be better if they could simply meet up and “talk about it”.
