Treis Introducing Their Groovy Track "Midnight Wine"

Treis (or Treis & Friends) is a conceptual Singer/Songwriter project based out of Central Florida, USA. Named after frontman Treis Alexander, the project documents events throughout the singer's life in a combination of ever-evolving sound, brutal lyrical honesty, and multi-perspective narratives, while using suburbia, classicism, and popular iconography as tools to tell the story. Treis' style varies greatly from album to album. In their debut project "HOUSES," the singer takes a quiet, instrumentally bare, and lyrically heavy take on nostalgia, the naivety of childhood, and the concept of what makes a House a home. Meanwhile, their follow up project, "Homesick" moves towards a more electronic pop sound, and focuses more on metaphor (rather than the storyteller writing featured on the first album) to tell their story. In 2020, Treis revealed the singles "Familiar Strangers," "The Morning After," "Midnight Wine," and "No Compromise," for their upcoming third LP, which revealed a new sound of heady, cerebral, "Suburban Funk" inspired by Nu-Disco and Synthwave artists of the last four decades, mixed with the introspective, narrative lyrical styling of their early works. Following the release of their newest track "Midnight Wine" they project a very soothing track that will definitely captivate your ears. Starting the track with a smooth and groovy beat leading onto his luscious vocals he completes the track fully. To explain the track further it's about a moment of ugly realization at a party about over-indulgence. Why ISN'T anyone dancing? Something clearly has changed around the narrator in a way they can't put their finger on, and instead of facing the reality behind what has happened, they simply "turn the music up" and distract themselves from doing any self-discovery by getting another drink and singing the night away. This track would be perfect for a late night drive or just hanging out with some friends. Go stream "Midnight Wine" and check out their discography which is filled with outstanding tracks.
