Tim Ayre Introduces His Groovy Track "So Long"

Upcoming artist Tim Ayre released his self-titled debut solo EP in November 2019 on Kitsuné Musique. Recorded in a Melbourne home studio, it was released to wide acclaim and has since received over 1.24 million streams and seen overwhelmingly positive coverage from Triple J, KCRW, BBC1xtra, Indie Shuffle, Earmilk, and The Line Of Best Fit. He’s also had support from tastemakers in the space such as Roosevelt, Folamour, and Touch Sensitive.

Working with mostly analog instruments and writing, recording everything himself since his high school years - Tim's first project Tim & Jean thrust him into the nation's spotlight and on tour with Moby before he could enter a licensed venue. Now some years later, that creative approach has only been refined and the results are a unique and infectious take on pop music. With the release of his newest single "So Long," he projects a very groovy track that will certainly intrigue your ears. Beginning the track with an upbeat sound leading onto his sweet and soft vocals he completes the song entirely. Explaining the track further it's about one of the more reflective moments on the EP "Modern Life" which will be released June 16 - the lyrics, depicting Tim's farewell to his former self, and are juxtaposed with bubbly-edged guitar riffs. To the vocals and production, this track will surely have your body dancing. Being just perfect for a day out on the beach or a late night drive. Go stream "So Long" and be on the lookout for his new EP "Modern Life".
