The Best Of Lofi Volume 27

Updated: May 9, 2022

To begin the day we have MTZ - "Coffee Break", a single that features a beat up piano over amazing thick drums that make you want to relax and start the day on a high note with some greenery in hand perhaps. Distant Memories - "Slipspace" is a track that featuers a guitar for the most part with changing chords and nuances in th background that make you want to listen closely. King I Divine - "Reflections" is a smooth single, perhaps the smoothest of the afternoon with a muddy, but not to muddy track, we would say the artist is putting a more vintage sound in play here. playaKO - "Doomed" is a dark single with creepy violin or a viola in the background to give you a sort of, god father-ish feel. JeffD CLARK - "Thinker" delivers a loyal Jazz track here that features horns, and realistic sounding drums that simply grasp you wherever you are. A Man Who Works Alone - "Steam" is a track that feels dream here, the chord proggressions and chords in the background behind the guitar lead is simply amazing. MicroCosmicOrbit - "Kick'N it 0ld School" sounds indeed like an old school track, the single feels so 90's here that it makes you want to start writing some bars. Beau Burnette - "Lean In" isn't the usual track we'd cover here, but the instrumental was so unique we wanted to share it as well, the vocals are relaxed here and don't seem like the artist takes it that seriouslly, we are intrigued. S-MAN - "hahaha" sounds like an artist finding his sound, becoming his own producer and artist and delivering a lofi track in his own unique way, with punchy kicks and snappy snares. Lofi Geek returns to our page with "Kenshin" & Sentaku Shitsu" the first single "Kenshin" is an example of how lofi should be to us we think, what is it without the ability to relax you, and hit your soul the way the bass does here. "Sentaku "Shitsu" is loyal to the artists enviorment, the sounds in the single is very reminiscent to the sounds of Japan here with the harp and nuances in the background. lofi geek - "Cabin House" is a thick single that you can feel in your chest when turned up loudly, the artist does wonders involving luscious bells here. Again lofi geek with - "Home In Japan" stuns us with his mighty thick drums, this time the artist makes us dwell on old memories with a luscious pad through out the single. lofi astronaut - "Cosmos Arcade" is a well done single here that is reminiscent to what is on the channel Lofi Girl. lofi astronaut - "Astrostudy" delivers a track hear that we would hear from r&b singers in the 90's here, the piano proggressiona are simply grasping. lofi astronaut - "Somewhere In The Sky" is the most moody track of the night to us, to us we just get lost memories back in our mind while listening to the track. Last from lofi astronaut tonight is "Plants Pressurization", the single sounds like a smooth boom bap single that sounds like XXXTentacion could've demolished. LoCraft - "Emptiness" is a great example of what you can do when you can control your dynamics, the beat features amazing thick bass when revolving guitar. Mannie Rivers - "PRAISE GOD (PSALM 103:1)" is a single that is reminiscent to Kanye West production. Last but not least we have Retromigration - "Kush Calls" the single feels the most 70's here interestingly enough, it does feature jazz elements here clearly but in a great, special way we think. We absolutely love the background synths and drums. Listen below.
