Takadoon - "Love"

Takadoon is a Hamburg-based jazz fusion band known for their unique blend of contemporary vocal jazz and catchy pop melodies. Their song "Love" is a perfect example of their musical style, which is characterized by energetic, romantic, and happy moods.

Similar to artists like Billy Joel, Beady Bell, Fleetwood Mac, Aaron Parks, Becca Stevens, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bobby McFerrin, Takadoon has a talent for creating good grooves and memorable melodies that stick with listeners. Their music offers a perfect balance of well-crafted jazz and catchy pop, with plenty of room for improvisation.

In 2019, Takadoon began producing their new album "PIECES." During this time, they created the song "Love," which features a unique and liberated mood wrapped up in an indie pop setting. The warm and peaceful feeling of being enveloped by love and nature is perfectly captured by the instruments in the song, creating a musical experience that is both uplifting and soothing.

Takadoon's first album, "INNER VOICE," was presented at the popular Jazzclub "Birdland" in Hamburg in 2016. Since then, they have become a popular fixture in the Hamburg jazz scene, playing at festivals like Travejazz-Festival and Leverkusener Jazztagen, as well as the Hafengeburtstag and the Elbphilharmonie beim Hope'n'Air. Their live performances are characterized by an energetic and immediate presence on stage, and they are known for inviting guest soloists to perform with them, ensuring that each concert is unique and unforgettable.

Takadoon's mission is to reveal themselves unambiguously through their music, and in doing so, give their audience the opportunity to do the same. With the upcoming release of their second album "PIECES" in 2023, Takadoon is sure to continue captivating the jazz world with their innovative and groovy style.
