SMILEY - "MOON WOMAN"

SMILEY is an 18 year old rapper, producer & engineer based in St. Catherine, Jamaica. Though Jamaica is mostly known for it's reggae and dancehall music, SMILEY is taking a step out of the mold and is throwing his hat into the Alternative Hip-Hop scene. Taking inspiration from artists such as LUCKI and Xavier Wulf, his style is very minimalistic with a laid back, almost soothing delivery of vocals backed by chill, ambient beats. To us it isn't obvious that he's so inspired by those underground legends previously mentioned because the artist just as a swagger on his own as simple as we can put it. The delivery is unique and the writing is great, we think that if SMILEY keeps it up he could very well become a star of the future. Listen below.
