Shilla With Their Melancholy Track "NoFeelings"

G.R.I.E.F and HollywoodRoze create the dynamic duo SHILLA. The beginnings of SHILLA happened in college. They started off messing around in their dorm rooms, which developed into Grief and Roze creating music exclusively. Their first tape together was called “The Red Solo”. SHILLA saw how important it was to have the “turnt up before it’s time” sound. In 2015, there was a slight split in music making for the dynamic duo due to life circumstances, but they did not let that stop them from making music. HollywoodRoze and G.R.I.E.F would send music back and forth via email and record their parts separately.

One of their close friends pitched the idea of them moving to Atlanta providing an opportunity for them to live together and create even more music. The rest is history. Shilla describes their music as a lot of genres in one. You may catch some rap, pop, rock, trap, emo trap, r&b. You may even catch all genres of music in one song. In their music, you will hear them talk about life experiences in the purest form of creativity. Following the release of their newest single "NoFeelings" they project a very soothing track that will surely grasp your ears. Starting the track with a slow melancholy beat leading onto their soft and luscious vocals they complete the track fully. Explaining the track further it's about an internal fight of wanting to feel and not wanting to feel anything at all. We want to feel because allowing yourself to do so can bring you a lot of joy but on the flip end it can bring loads of pain. In this song, all the feelings and emotion we currently are blocking ourselves from feeling in our personal lives, in the real world coming pouring out sonically and through the lyrics and how they're delivered. The track would be perfect for a late night drive or just chilling alone within your thoughts. Go stream "NoFeelings" and check out their discography which is filled with amazing tracks.
