Richard Orofino With His Astounding Track "Wanna Say"

Upcoming artist Richard Orofino is a 22 y/o Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter/producer, in possession of a broad palette of musical skills and boundless inspiration. He began writing and producing music in 2013, starting on piano, moving to drums and later guitar, all while honing his production skills crafting hundreds of bedroom pop gems from the attic of his parent’s house in Northport, NY. The evolution of his songwriting and vocal style resulted in last year’s “Bella Notte,” produced with Francois Tetaz (Goyte, The Nightgame). His debut set forth an artistic vision and sound template that, while unique in the pop landscape, incorporates diverse influences including Sade, Elliott Smith, New Order & Cocteau Twins. The evolution continued with the last year’s self-produced EP “SPELL” which combines all these elements into a beautiful blend that will be familiar to all his fans - past, present, and future. Following the release of his newest single "Wanna Say" he projects a very vibrant track that will certainly grasp your ears. Beginning with upbeat instrumentation leading onto his sweet and luscious vocals he completes the track fully. Explaining the single further it could be described as a colorful pop song about freeing your mind. Disguised as a dirty bedroom indie number, its topical themes delve into self-realization and ridding ones’ mind of intrusive thoughts, all spoken with heart-awakening lyricism. To the vocals and production, this track will definitely have you dancing. Being just perfect for a late night drive or hanging out with so friends. Go stream "Wanna Say" and check out his discography which is filled with outstanding tracks.
