Introducing Remedies they are an alt-rock/pop duo from Narvik in Northern Norway, formed in late 2016. The duo consists of Tor Erik Ursin (instrumentals) and Sigrid Ryan (vocals). Their music is inspired by elements from different genres, mixed together to create an exciting soundscape. Remedies compose, write, produce, and release their music independently. Following up on their EP “Delusions” from 2019, the duo is now set for their first album release on October 21st, 2022. The duo released their first EP Delusions in 2019. The EP was self-produced and partially recorded at home and in Kysten Studio in Tromsø. Delusions gained the attention of several blogs. The Norwegian blog "Platespilleren" compared the duo to Bel Canto, Bertine Zertlitz, and The Cardigans, and described the production as both intelligent and exciting. Delusions were also picked up by Spotify and added to "New Music Friday Norway". Their latest singles Trapped, Psycho Scent, Holler, Putting On A Little Show, and White Noise has received recognition from established blogs, such as Obscure Sound, Analoguetrash, Cheers To The Vikings, and Conversations About Her. With the release of their newest track "Outlaws", they present an exhilarating sound that will certainly grasp your attention. Beginning with dazzling instrumentation leading onto Sigrid's bright and full vocals they complete the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it's inspired by a bit of "western movie vibes", depicting an outlaw who's riding the wastelands, collecting his bounties.
