Reece is an uprising artist from Virginia who introduces fresh and fun tracks in which anyone would be able to enjoy. Recce has been making music for quite some time now, having released his first singles Ghost and Don't Go in 2015, Reece garnered love from outlets such as Pigeons and Planes, HillyDilly, FADER, and more. Reece was finding his sound and beginning an incredible creative journey, which would lead to meetings with early fans like Benny Blanco, collaborations with producers like Clams Casino, Robotaki, Heavy Mellow, stints living in NYC and LA, and the release of his debut EP 'I'm Not Sure Yet' in 2019. That project was supported by opening slots for FINNEAS in NYC and LA, for NomBe at the legendary Fonda, and a 5 show run with Maverick Sabre. Gaining this much recognition already Reece is going nowhere but up.
Following his newest single "Back For Me" Reece wanted to create something meaningful and something that would incite a sense of emotion when listening to this particular track. Reece made this track in a venting session in the form of a song. While writing this song he was so upset the day he wrote it with Jonah Shai. he just had his heart broken literally 3 days prior, and he wanted to create a song which also doubled as an open letter of everything he wanted to say to his ex at the time. Reece's powerful new record cuts like a knife. Severing all ties with his ex at his own expense if necessary, Reece unleashes a soaring chorus amid lush harmonies. Created in NYC with the multifaceted Jonah Shai (Dermot Kennedy, Chelsea Cutler) on the heels of a breakup, "Back For Me" describes the ashes of a relationship that Reece needs to end even if that means self immolation. The marching synth based track gives a powerful backbone to Reece's definitive and empowered message. Go check out this great track as well as his other latest tracks he's released.
