Moyka With Her Nostalgic Track "Stay"

Upcoming artist Monika Engeseth, better known as Moyka, is a twenty-three-year-old indie-pop artist and producer from southern Norway. A little over two years ago, she enrolled on a music production degree in Bergen and shortly started to write and produce her own music. She refers to herself as a Norwegian pop witch - her music is sharp, intense, and takes a lot of influence from some of the most revered Scandinavian and Nordic music artists of the modern era. Moyka’s released her first EP “Circles” in 2019 and was influenced by Norwegian singers such as AURORA, Sigrid, and bands like Highasakite and Röyksopp. Her recognition increased after performances on Norwegian national media (NRK P3 Radio and TV2’s God Morgen Norge). She’s performed at concerts across Norway, sung in the 34th edition of Eurosonic (Netherlands), and performed in the Verfet Online Music Festival, as well as was planned to perform at The Great Escape Festival (2020) but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the release of her newest single "Stay" she projects a very upbeat track that will surely grasp your ears. Starting the track with a soothing beat leading onto her sweet and luscious vocals she completes the track fully. Explaining the track further it's about someone who's special to her that is planning on leaving, and is trying to convince that person to stay a bit more and be by her side not letting her go. To the vocals and production this track presents a vibrant sound that will surely get your body moving. Making it perfect for a late night drive or hanging out with some friends. Go stream "Stay" and check out her discography which is filled with amazing tracks.
