Lyrah is a singer/writer/producer based in San Francisco. Growing up in a sleepy, small town in Pennsylvania, she spent her days writing at her piano and singing at everything from church to skate park shows. She’s spent a lot of time working in the background with other artists writing toplines, touring with a band as a keyboardist, and collaborating with other producers. Her EP Chemicals came out last year and was the start of her solo path. Her songs have been listed on Spotify Fresh Finds, received praise from the likes of Earmilk and Indie Shuffle and topped the Hype Machine charts. Following the release of her newest single "Slow Down" she projects a very soothing beat that will certainly captivate your ears. Starting the track with a slow and soothing beat leading onto her luscious vocals she completes this track entirely. To explain the track a bit further it's about her having just lost a relative, and while we were reminded of how precious life was, we had no control over it. This song is what came out of our conversation that night while talking with her best friend and one line captured it best — “Maybe I should really know by now, how to make the world slow down.” It's a true and sincere track that time continues to move and you should cherish every moment you experience with a person. It's a beautiful track that i'm sure you'll all enjoy, Go stream "Slow Down" and check out her discography which is filled with lovely tracks.
