Juniper Ridge - "Vermilion Cliffs"

Introducing Juniper Ridge with their mesmerizing new instrumental, "Vermilion Cliffs," released by Ridge Records. This track is a beautiful concoction of Jazz Fusion and Post Rock, perfect for fans of Tortoise, BADBADNOTGOOD, Snarky Puppy, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. This is a long one, but something really meant to relax you and something that you can just put your headphones on to, and simply close your eyes and just let everything go. At least that's what I did when I first heard the single and started to take it all in. "Vermilion Cliffs" is an exquisite blend of western, jazz fusion, and post-rock elements, creating a smooth, slow, and warm sound that's ideal for sipping a cold drink on a peaceful night. The track starts with a moody ambiance, slowly building into an awe-inspiring crescendo of sax, synth, and guitar solos, making it a perfect companion for the transcendental cowboy. This nearly 12-minute musical journey is a testament to Juniper Ridge's ability to blend genres seamlessly, creating lush, transportive melodies. The song begins with simple yet gorgeous guitars accompanied by haunting environmental tones. As it progresses, it builds into an exhilarating mix of soaring sax, synth, and guitar solos. It takes listeners on a journey, starting from a place of introspection and building to a climax of musical euphoria. This track is the lead single for their upcoming EP, 'Western Medicine,' set to release in early 2024, and it sets a high bar for what's to come. Listen below now.
