Joshua Radin, the American singer-songwriter, has released a deeply personal new single titled “Man Of The Year,” which offers a glimpse of his upcoming EP 'though the world will tell me so, volume 2.' The single is released under Nettwerk Music Group and features Radin's signature acoustic guitar and gentle vocals. It explores his struggles with intimacy and vulnerability and was written for someone who scares him. The EP, set to be released on June 23rd, was inspired by Radin's time on the road in 2022, where he sought out new stories to tell, and recorded the material in places such as Stockholm, Paris, and Lisbon.
Radin, who emerged in 2004, has tallied over 1 billion streams, moved more than 1 million albums worldwide and has a gold certification for the single “I’d Rather Be With You.” His music has appeared in over 200 films, television series, and commercials, and he has performed on Ellen, the Today Show, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, and Conan. He has shared the stage with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, Imogen Heap, and The Script. He also supports charities such as Little Kids Rock and North Shore Animal League America (NSALA).
The EP follows the release of Radin’s latest full-length album 'The Ghost and The Wall' which was acclaimed in 2021. The album generated positive reviews with Parade hailing the single “Goodbye” as “breathy, gorgeous and intimate,” while American Songwriter promised, “A more beautiful set of ballads would be hard to come by.” Riff Magazine rated it “9-out-of-10,” while No Depression assured, “As long as Radin remains this honest and the melodies this sweet there’s every reason to believe he’ll have enough to say for his next 15 years in the business.”
So, ‘though the world will tell me so’ offers Radin's fans a glimpse into his soul and showcases his willingness to explore the unfamiliar. The EP promises to be a refreshing change of pace and demonstrates Radin's continued growth as an artist. Enjoy!!!
