Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, Jidé quickly developed a passion for music at a young age recording early outtakes into his mother’s stereo player often dubbing over her favorite cassette tapes. This early musical background manifested in his adolescent years as Jidé got into producing instrumentals for local acts in the Houston area. The newest single "Let U Down" instantly starts with soft, wet and emotional vocals. The artist doesn't tease for long and have you waiting, he gives you the full expierence as soon as he could to keep the listener grasped and hooked. The vocals are something that hit you in the chest, and the lyrics go through that right to your heart. The artist is a pure poet and we hope to hear more. Listen below.
