Outstanding artist Jack Panther Developed in the Wellington scene and based in Auckland, queer artist Jack Panther uses his craft to blend tones of melancholy with pop. Panther spent much of his youth with his headphones in, listening to Sky Ferreira and writing angsty poetry. Jack credits varied writing influences from Arctic Monkeys to Lykke Li to Omar Apollo and prides himself in his mixture of noir, candid, cool pop that flows through melodies and rhythms. 2020 was a mammoth year for Jack, releasing 4 singles and his debut solo EP, ‘this dream I had' a collaboration alongside UK-based producer, Ian Barter, who has worked in developing artists including Amy Winehouse, FKA twigs and Paloma Faith. Following the release of his newest single "Feels Right" (feat. MAURICE) he presents a very nostalgic sound that will surely captivate your ears. Starting with upbeat instrumentation leading onto his sweet and luscious vocals he completes the single entirely. As well as featuring Maurice she adds a nice touch to the track with her airy and soft vocals they complement each other so well. Explaining the song further it's about a story of going home again and falling back into old habits with an ex. To the vocals and production, this track will definitely have you dancing.
