Ivytide With Their Soothing Track "text me when u get home"

Ivytide is an Indie Pop band from Montreal, Canada. Founding members, Nathan Gagné (vocals/guitar), Jamie Snytte (guitar) and Kyle Ruggiero (bass) met at a recording studio, where they started to develop chemistry in their songwriting. A mutual love for lo-fi indie music led to the production of bedroom pop songs with intricate, but catchy melodies, which float on top of well thought-out instrumentation. Ivytide recently signed with Higher Reign Music Group, a distributed label of Sony Music Canada, and released their second EP “Pardon our distance” in June of 2020. 
 Following the release of their newest track "text me when u get home" they project a very soothing sound that will definitely grasp your ears. Beginning the track with a groovy beat leading onto their loud and luscious vocals. They complete this track fully it has a certain feeling you get when you like someone. It explains encapsulates that moment, at the end of the night, when you finally have to part ways with someone, but want to make sure they get home safely. “text me when u get home” becomes something you start saying after every time you see each other and forms a sense of security within the relationship. So much so that you start feeling bad if you ever forget to say it. These words become an expression of compassion that is more heavily weighed than you ever thought it would be. The track would be perfect for a late night drive or just laying by the beach. It a beautiful track that you can play multiple times and never get over it.
