Introducing Meg Smith with "Cross My Heart I Hope U Die"

Introducing Meg Smith with "Cross My Heart I Hope U Die", the new single from NYC pop artist Meg Smith. The track is reminiscent to Billie Eilish, Madonna, Halsey, and Brittany Spears. Meg says on the track, "I was studying abroad in London when I wrote ‘Cross My Heart I Hope U Die,’ and just felt so out of my comfort zone in this new place. It came to a point where I decided to totally forget all of my preconceived notions about what my music should sound like. So I went into the session and I was like 'Today I want to write the spookiest song ever.' The single starts very soft shiny piano keys, then leaning into its kicking bass. Meg's vocals are like silk in the single, everything is hitting exactly where it needs to be, and sitting exactly where it should be sitting. The hook also makes you feel like you're in a Prada commercial walking down an all red hallway... and at the end of the fiery, red strut. There's the product, I wanted to tie some imaginary humor into this so you could understand how it felt to hear the single. The outro is a nice take, very different with the vocal effects and the cumba sounding exit. I definitely hope to hear more and see more improvement from the artist, Check out "Cross My Heart I Hope U Die" now.
