As the latest single from Los Angeles based rapper HoodTrophy Bino, "Wake 'Em Up" is a powerful song about shifting your mindset and using past struggles to guide you in achieving your dreams. Bino, who is signed to Soulja Boy's Stacks On Deck Money Gang S.O.D.M.G. label, is set to release his debut EP in January 2023 and "Wake 'Em Up" is the second single on the EP.
In the accompanying video, Bino can be seen thrashing in bed, having a nightmare about his past excesses. However, as the video progresses, he finds himself living the life he had always dreamed of - a beautiful girlfriend, a luxurious beach house in Marina Del Rey, and close friends celebrating his new house and lifestyle.
"You can wake up on different levels," Bino says about the song and video. "You can become woke about your life - how you want it to be, instead of how it keeps crashing out of control."
With "Wake 'Em Up," HoodTrophy Bino delivers a powerful message about taking control of your life and not letting your past hold you back.
