Introducing Holy Wire with the latest single "Twenty Six". Holy Wire is the project of Austin-based artist Alain Paradis. Borne of the influence of artists like LCD Soundsystem, Future Islands, and the Chromatics, as well as 80s post-punk stalwarts like New Order, Grauzone, and DAF, Holy Wire straddles the borders between new-wave tradition and the departure from it. The single to us is reminiscent to choir boy we think. The wet vocals are something that just make you very in tune with the music here. The emotion is there and is premiered with a lot of grace. The instrumental is very clearly inspired by the 80's and very loyal to the vintage sound. Listen below for yourself to see what we mean.
