Indie-rocker Good Bison is back with a new single, "Can't Waste This High", off of his upcoming EP Ghost on Mulholland. This synth-soaked track showcases Good Bison's unique blend of live instrumentation and electronic elements, and is the first taste of what fans can expect from the EP, set for release on February 21, 2023.
Good Bison, the brainchild of Pablo Alvarez and Abraham Mendez (Abes), wrote and recorded "Can't Waste This High" in Miami with George Spits handling additional production, mixing and mastering, and Agustin Mas on lead guitar. The repetitive, simple lyrics speak to the protagonist's desperate attempt to escape the ghost who has been haunting him his whole life, seeking refuge in moments of pure bliss.
Ghost on Mulholland is inspired by R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series, and follows a self-penned short story that delves into the supernatural. While the EP explores darker, more serious themes, Good Bison maintains his signature indie rock sound, blending influences from Beck's Odelay and Weezer's The Blue Album with his unique, fast-paced hip-hop delivery.
Fans of Good Bison's previous work will not want to miss out on this exciting new release, and newcomers to the artist will find much to love in "Can't Waste This High" and the upcoming Ghost on Mulholland EP.
