EREZ With Her Soothing Track "Modern Dream"

Writer's picture: deathordesiredeathordesire

Introducing one talented artist known as "EREZ" she is a NYC born, Israeli-raised queer artist and producer who wears her heart on her sleeve and will make history doing so. EREZ began writing songs at just six years old, often penning dark and deep tracks far more mature than her numbered age. (One of the songs from her forthcoming album actually features a sample of one of her recordings when she was seven years old.) Anxious and unsure of her own voice, EREZ didn't start singing until the age of 12 out of fear that her low, alto didn't match other people's expectations. Throughout the years she'd come to find it was her distinctly low and raspy voice that set her apart. EREZ's passion for music extended into the nightlife scene in both Tel Aviv and Los Angeles where she found herself dancing late into the night on a weekly basis and even trying her own hand at DJ-ing - something that influenced her desire to self-produce and engineer and has greatly influenced the music she now makes. "As a woman, I didn't want to feel like I had to rely on anyone to get my records done. I feel like producing my own music has given me complete sonic freedom to execute my vision to the max of my ability in the moment I'm creating," she explains. "The musical landscapes I carve out are unique and feel like me. I've been lucky enough to never have a voice in my head of 'will they like it' while creating. I only create what I love and enjoy listening to." Following the release of her newest single "Modern Dream" she projects a very soothing track that will surely grasp your ears. Starting the track with a soft/calming beat leading onto her sweet and luscious vocals she completes the track fully. Explaining the track further it's an ode to the technological era we live in and the influence it has on our lives. To the vocals and production this track will surely have your body swaying. Being just perfect for a late night drive or alone within your thoughts. Go stream "Modern Dream"!
