Franco-Australian Elodie Gervaise is a singer, musician, and writer of songs, currently expressing through an electronic, synth-driven sound. After several years of playing the guitar and singing in bands (Galaxy Girls and Candy Lucid) and making a name for herself amongst the Australian circuit, she moved to Paris to feed her French roots and become inspired by the European scene. There she formed her own self-titled four-piece band in which she played shows before the strike of Covid and has now gone down a solo path, collaborating with producer Maria Korkeila for a new four-track EP and pianist Giovanni Digiandomenico to enrich her dynamic live solo set. Powerfully deep vocal melodies driven by pungent lyrics in both English and French, Elodie’s auditory universe derives from a place of pure emotion. Following the release of her newest single "IMYG", she projects a futuristic-sounding track that will surely intrigue your ears. Beginning with upbeat instrumentation leading onto soft and luscious vocals she completes the single fully. Explaining the track further it's based on a light and intangible connection describing an encounter the day before the first lockdown.
