Upcoming artist David Bay is from Hamburg and in his mid 20’s. He's currently playing in a band called pool, and running the label Zissou records with Dj dreams, and recently starting his solo project. His passion has always been disco music and synth sounds. The point where analog meets digital, where retro meets modern, indie goes to Hollywood and it all works out. The approach to his own productions is to get to that point - to be funky and easy listening at the same time. Over the summer he's released a bunch of remixes, for example, the New York's phenomenal handclap band on toy tonics. Following the release of his newest single "Love Will Tear Us Apart" he projects a very nostalgic track that will certainly captivate your ears. Beginning with groovy instrumentation leading onto his sweet and luscious vocals he completes the track fully. Explaining the single further it's about being in love with someone so much and having the best memories together but you carry that fear of one day you could lose them.
