Club Soccer is the matching of Argentinian Nico Brunstein and Brazilian-born, Nando Dale. Both students at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, the two have found a common passion for putting indie rock, dream pop, and jazz into a psychedelic smoothie that will refresh you on a sunny day. Club Soccer is also a means for Nico and Nando to express their production skills as they adhere to a strict self-producing ethos. Emphasizing production quality as much as they value their songwriting, the duo strives to keep pushing themselves to experiment with different techniques, inspired by the late 60’s creative freedom. Consisting of Nando on vocals and guitar and Nico on bass the duo inspired by both their parent's music taste (The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Os Mutantes) and their current affections (O Terno, King Krule, The Marias, Natalia Lafourcade), you may find them playing soccer at Washington Square Park or dancing their asses off to disco. With the release of their newest single "Entertainment", they present a nostalgic track that will surely intrigue your ears. Starting with groovy instrumentation leading onto their sweet and soft vocals they complete the single fully. Explaining the track further Club Soccer says "the song was written during the earlier stages of the pandemic. At the time, I was feeling exhausted with technology and the way that our society had to shift into a completely online world. I was also going moving on from a breakup at the same time, and I felt like I lived the drama of that through the gaze of a screen rather than my previous experiences. A lot of things in my life came to a halt during that time, whether it was my relationships, the musical projects I am involved in, and even my favorite source of entertainment: soccer." To the vocals and production, this track will definitely have you dancing. Being just perfect for a late-night drive or a day out on the beach. Go stream "Entertainment".
