Cloverchild - "Whiskey Ginger"

Writer's picture: deathordesiredeathordesire

Introducing Cloverchild today with his latest single "Whiskey Ginger". "This is my second single of the year. Musically the song is inspired by Prince, City Pop and Chromeo. The lyrics discuss my memories of traveling to Japan with my wife and how everything reminds us of our trip." Cloverchild tells us. The single is very reminiscent to artists of today that are also doing the vintage modern pop sound. Vintage meaning using the sounds of the DX7, but with some taste and influence from todays sound and tricks learned along the way. We think the artist is very reminiscent to M83, and Foster The People. Listen below.
