charly haze With Her Dreamy Track "Getaway Car"

Upcoming artist charly haze is a Dutch London-based electropop songstress who creates a lush and synthwave-tinged sonic landscape that evokes comparisons to Purity Ring, Anna of the North, and Chromatics. Having signed her first label deal at the age of 15, the songstress already made a name for herself in her home country of The Netherlands with former projects. Touring with La Roux, Ellie Goulding and Noisettes allowed her to hone not only her songwriting skills, but her vibrant live performance too. A brain injury caused by a car crash in 2017 led to a challenging 2-year long recovery. Specialist treatment brought her to the US, where the concept for her EP was born. Inspired by the Californian summer, charly captured both her recovery and travel experiences to create a raw and honest collection of songs, that feature painfully relatable lyrics. Previous features include Cosmopolitan (NL), NBHAP, POPMUZIK, Bands of Tomorrow, and The Daily Indie; radio spins by Dutch stations 3FM and KINK, and various Spotify editorial playlist additions such as New Music Friday, Chilled Pop Hits (UK) and Indie Dance, New Music Daily on Apple Music, and Indie Academie, Nieuw Deze Week on Deezer. Following the release of her newest single "Getaway Car", she projects a very dreamy track that will certainly captivate your ears. Beginning with soothing instrumentation leading onto her sweet and luscious vocals she completes the single fully. Explaining the track further it's about a challenging period that happened in her life, the song is the final chapter of the EP and touches upon charly leaving Amsterdam behind and starting out fresh by moving to London. Drenched in melancholia, but also full of calm and acceptance “the song is about embracing change, but I’m still heavy hearted about what I’m leaving behind,” says charly on the track. To the vocals and production, this track will surely have you vibing. Being just perfect for a late-night drive or a day out on the beach. Go stream "Getaway Car"!.
