Cash Kidd - "Yea Freestyle"

Cash Kidd, Detroit's most memorable punchline rapper, has been quietly making waves in the hip-hop scene, collaborating with heavyweights like Eminem, Big Sean, Peezy, Kash Doll, and E-40, among others. While he's worked with some of the biggest names in the game, he hasn't fully stepped into the spotlight. His latest release, "Yea Freestyle," dropped on October 5, 2023, and he's calling on fans for their support.

Released by 5674 / EMPIRE, "Yea Freestyle" is just one piece of Cash Kidd's larger body of work. He recently released his mixtape, "No Socks 3," which marks the third and final installment of the beloved No Socks series. This project not only showcases Cash Kidd's undeniable love for rap but also the pure fun he has with it. The mixtape boasts an impressive 22-song tracklist featuring collaborations with artists like Dej Loaf, OhGeesy, NoCap, Kash Doll, Peezy, Icewear Vezzo, Bfb Da Packman, BlueBucksClan, Ralfy The Plug, and Lil Nell.

One of the mixtape's standout tracks is "Yea Freestyle," which features NoCap, a rising star from Mobile, Alabama. Cash Kidd's imaginative bars and lyrical prowess continue to leave an indelible mark on his listeners. Another highlight is "Irreplaceable," featuring a coveted verse from Detroit legend Dej Loaf, and "Man Up," which creatively flips the soul classic "Stand By Me" with the help of Flint, Michigan favorite, Bfb da Packman.

Cash Kidd has been making noise both on and off the stage. He recently teamed up with Bfb da Packman for a live performance of "Man Up," generating significant online buzz and reigniting conversations about why Cash Kidd is considered one of Detroit's greatest talents.

To celebrate the release of "No Socks 3," Cash Kidd is hitting the road for a 10-city No Socks Tour, taking him to cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston, Chicago, and more, before wrapping up in Cleveland on November 4th.

This year has been a big one for Cash Kidd, with the release of his highly acclaimed album, "BeBe Kidd 3," which featured an array of notable collaborations. Cash Kidd's unique mix of sharp wit, vivid storytelling, and raw emotion continues to make him a standout artist in Detroit's rap scene. "BeBe Kidd 3" was even recognized as one of "The Best Albums of Spring 2023" by i-D, praising Cash Kidd for embodying the essence of Detroit's rap music.

Cash Kidd's journey in the rap game is far from over, and as he continues to drop tracks like "Yea Freestyle" and push the boundaries of his craft, there's no doubt that he'll be making even more noise in the years to come.
