Born out of Chicago’s thriving DIY scene, Blue Cove melds both modern indie pop and the nostalgic shoegaze sensibilities of the 90’s, all backed by the restrained yet fervent lyricism of vocalist Steph Nikolas. This track explores the process of overcoming social anxiety and negative intrusive thoughts. The latest single to us is a very heart warming one. The vocals are wet. The drums are absolutely spaceous. When the music starts here it automatically feels like a warm hug. Then again, the vocals come in and we think it's reminiscent to lana del rey.
