Asha Gold is an upcoming artist who introduces a fun and creative way when it comes to her writing and production. Being classically trained to grade 8 in piano and drums, Asha Gold is able to compose inventively, with lyricism beyond her years. Surrounding herself with music in all forms since the early years of her childhood has allowed her a diverse collection of musical influences; from H.E.R, to Frank Ocean, to her own Indian heritage. This year alone Asha has performed at Tom Kerridge's 'Pub in the Park' festival, opening the evening session for Clean Bandit, as well as headlining the Victoria in Dalston for Breaking Sound, and supporting Olivia Dean at the Slaughtered Lamb with East of Eden Live.
Following her newest single "Debut" Asha Gold creates a track so effortlessly beautiful and vibrant. With already two trending singles "Passenger" and "Too Good" she comes back in with another great single to reinstate her entrance into the music industry, tapping once again into those irresistible RnB melodies and dance-along rhythms. Written during the quarantine on Zoom with producer Mitch Jones, ‘Debut’ became the antidote for lockdown woes thanks to that energetic percussion and dancing piano line. Starting the track with a dreamy and soulful beat leading to her bold and capturing vocals she creates an essence that captures your attention and it's just naturally a great track that anyone would be able to enjoy. Asha explains the meaning of this track further by saying “It’s about falling in love for the first time, so it has this sense of innocence and sweetness throughout navigating unfamiliar feelings, fighting those feelings off, and then eventually giving into them knowing they are genuine and not something to be scared of.” The feel of this track is definitely a vibe and for sure a track to have on repeat go check out "debut".
